After being recognised as Australia's Most Innovative Tech Company in the 2020 as Split Payments, Zepto was in the finalists mix again this year in the 2021 Australian Financial Review Boss Most Innovative Companies Awards.
We’re thrilled to announce that we finished in 2nd place in a red-hot field as reported in the Australian Financial Review.
“We’re delighted to be recognised as one of Australia’s most innovative technology companies at the Financial Review Boss Most Innovative Companies awards. To make the list in consecutive years is an amazing achievement, and to have our financial-hardship collections solution recognised as an innovative open banking use case is especially satisfying,” said Zepto CEO, Chris Jewell.
We were runners-up in the Banking, Superannuation & Financial Services category.
“At Zepto, we believe that open banking is more than just a secure connection to transactional data, it is an ideology that can deliver positive social outcomes for everyone. Our ethical, financial hardship collections solution is a prime example of that. We’re really proud of it,” added Jewell.
The AFR BOSS Most Innovative Companies list (previously the BRW Most Innovative Companies list) is now in its ninth year. The list ranks the most innovative organisations in Australia and New Zealand–by industry–and is the only national list of its kind.
The prestigious annual list, published by The Australian Financial Review and Boss Magazine, is based on a rigorous assessment process managed by Australia’s leading innovation consultancy, Inventium, in conjunction with a panel of industry expert judges.
In 2021, the list comprised ten industry lists, compiled from over 700 nominations.
Zepto also featured in the lists of finalists in multiple categories at FinTech Australia’s 2021 Finnies awards.
