Zepto’s founders began their entrepreneurial journey together as operators of a hugely successful Australian skydiving business. Their first-hand frustrations with legacy payments infrastructure inspired them to launch Zepto in response to a question they’d asked themselves many times:
“Surely, there has to be a better way to get paid.”
With that travel-and-tourism heritage, Zepto knows a thing or two about the payment entanglements running right through the global travel industry. As does the Zenith-TravelPay B2B team.
TravelPay B2B helps travel agents to make easy and secure payments to travel suppliers and tour operators. We sat down with Zenith Payments GM, Kevin Butler, to chat about working with Zepto, and the exciting launch of TravelPay B2B in New Zealand.
Zenith has been working with Zepto for several years in Australia, and we have a shared passion for innovation, collaboration and smarter payment technology. When it came to launching TravelPay B2B and our various businesses in New Zealand, it made perfect sense for us to expand our existing relationship with our proven partner.

We worked with Zepto to launch our highly successful TravelPay B2B business in Australia in the middle of the pandemic. Now that the travel skies have cleared, we have received numerous requests for our services from New Zealand travel businesses. It's the right time to work with Zepto once again and take this important step into the future for both of our businesses.

TravelPay B2B is the first of a number of Zenith Payments’ business units planned for launch across the Tasman.
Zenith plans to utilise Zepto’s New Zealand operation to roll out its innovative payments solutions in other industries from early 2023.
Zepto is on a mission to power the movement of value through the economy. On 01 December 2022 we reached another milestone on that journey with approval to join the NPP's 01 December 2022 Production Business Reference Data Table [BRDT] as a Connected Institution for PayTo®.
