A Pioneer Perspective: How Zepto and Oliver Grace Created an Award-Winning Digital Experience.
Innovation isn't just about the code we write or the infrastructure we build; it’s about how we present complex solutions to the world.
We are thrilled to announce that Zepto and Oliver Grace have been recognised at the prestigious Australian Good Design Awards, taking home an accolade in the Digital: Web Design & Development category for our website and brand evolution.

Receiving the Good Design Tick is a significant milestone. Dating back to 1958, these awards are Australia's highest honour for design and innovation, celebrating projects that demonstrate excellence in form, function, and impact.
But for us, this award represents something deeper: the power of partnership and the importance of taking a Pioneer Perspective.
The Power of Partnership
At Zepto, we believe in partnerships that deliver more than the sum of their parts. We have been fortunate to forge a long-lasting, impactful relationship with the creative team at Oliver Grace.
This win belongs as much to them as it does to us. Oliver Grace has been instrumental in shaping who we are today. They led the strategic creative project that took us from Split Payments to Zepto back in 2021, and they have continued to walk alongside us as we evolve.
This award recognises our most recent collaboration: a brand evolution that creates a digital experience as stylish as it is seamless.
A Fresh Look at Old Problems
One of Zepto’s core company values is the Pioneer Perspective. It’s about taking a fresh look at old problems through new lenses.
Historically, the world of B2B payments has been viewed as purely utilitarian—often stiff, complex, and impersonal. We wanted to challenge that convention. We needed a digital presence that didn't just explain what we do, but captured the spirit of how we do it: with speed, innovation, and reliability.
The Oliver Grace submission articulated the challenge:
"Describing what Zepto does is not easy. The Australian fintech innovator required a strategy that brought complex ideas back down to earth... We had the opportunity to take the brand further with fresh ideas, creating a new identity inspired by the spirit of space travel and fintech’s shift toward bold, emotive storytelling."

Shooting for the Stars (with Zeppy)
The result of this "fresh look" is a website that defies the standard fintech aesthetic. Instead of static corporate visuals, Oliver Grace delivered a bold, dynamic design featuring oversized type, mesmerising movement, and effortless mobile accessibility.
Central to this new identity is Zeppy, our mascot, who brings a sense of playfulness and humanity to our ecosystem. The design language borrows from the spirit of space travel—futuristic, bold, and exploratory—positioning Zepto not just as a payments processor, but as a vehicle for growth.

Zepto Co-founder Trevor Wistaff summed up the impact of this collaboration:
"Oliver Grace delivered an exciting brand identity and website that captured Zepto’s innovative spirit. With Zeppy, our new mascot, they created a standout and memorable B2B presence. Their digital expertise brought our brand to life."

Design with Impact
The Australian Good Design Awards jury evaluates entries based on three criteria: Good Design, Design Innovation, and Design Impact.
Winning this award validates that B2B payments don't have to be boring. By prioritising user experience (UX) and emotive storytelling, we are making the complex simple and the innovative accessible.
We want to thank the Australian Good Design Awards for this recognition, and our partners at Oliver Grace for their continued strategic creativity. Here is to keeping the Pioneer Perspective alive—shooting for the stars, and looking ‘crispy’ while doing it.
