We are thrilled to share that Zepto has been announced as a finalist in two categories at the 2025 Finnies Awards, Australia's leading celebration of fintech excellence and innovation.
Our finalist nominations are:
- Excellence in Industry Collaborations & Partnerships — celebrating our work alongside Banked and NAB to deliver PayTo payments
- Emerging FinTech Leader — recognising our very own Justin Steer, Head of Solutions at Zepto

Working together to launch pay-by-bank (PayTo) at scale wasn’t just a technical achievement — it was a shared vision brought to life through deep collaboration, trust, and a commitment to creating better payment experiences for businesses and consumers alike.
This project has placed Australia at the forefront of global account-to-account payments innovation, and we’re proud to have played our part in helping drive that momentum forward.
Recognising leadership and innovation: Justin’s nomination for Emerging FinTech Leader acknowledges not only his deep technical expertise but also his incredible leadership in building the talented and innovative Solutions team that has played a vital role in Zepto’s success. As a leader, Justin leads with trust, empowerment, and clarity. He inspires those around him by setting a bold vision, while creating the space for individuals to take ownership, experiment, and thrive. He’s deeply customer-centric, always focused on understanding the real-world needs of the businesses we work with, and ensuring that our technology solves meaningful problems.
